Our legacy
Ever since the establishment of ofi, we have solemnly focussed on the agricultural sector. This has allowed us to develop our skills over the years, reaching a better understanding of these markets, and we have been able to consolidate our position as one of the most important market leaders. We have grown from a single product, operating from one country in 1989, to a global player in the food industry. Nowadays, we operate in 70 different countries, divided over 16 different platforms.
Olam literally means “crossing boundaries”, which perfectly describes our journey of the past 30 years from start-up to global organization. We have achieved this through the dedication and commitment of our 23,000 employees who work with us on a daily basis, and through the cooperation with our partners all over the world.
