About this role
Based in ofi’s Rotterdam or Koog aan de Zaan office and reporting to the Head of EMENA Marketing, this is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on, customer centric marketing content & campaigns expert specialist to shape our strategy, deliver breakthrough content and help build understanding and awareness of our value proposition with regional customers, in support of ambitious business goals. 

These are exciting times at ofi. The newly created EMENA SIM (marketing, sales, innovation) team at ofi has a collective responsibility to identify category focused market and customer opportunities, match customer needs with relevant offers and fill the customer project pipeline with innovation related projects. 

This newly created team is looking for a customer centric marketing content & campaigns expert to work closely with the customer and platform marketing managers to develop and execute the EMENA marketing initiatives, category campaigns and customer marketing plans. 

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who excels in brand and content marketing. We’re looking for a collaborative, creative, “think outside the box” team member to create events, campaigns and content that will deliver on marketing goals.  

Here are the main responsibilities of this role: 

  • Support development of all integrated ofi EMENA marketing activities, creating breakthrough, innovative content, impactful marketing assets and campaigns. that will generate awareness, build trust and deliver leads. 
  • Lead content creation across all categories – blogs, white papers, case studies, videos, etc.
  • Manage and execute on the ofi customer communications calendar for the region, including trade show presence/event management. 
  • Support the value proposition development process for identified channel and category solutions in the region.
  • Support senior marketing team executing the development of tools, training and content for frontline staff.
  • Track, evaluate & report campaigns results and provide recommendations for future marketing activities.
  • Participate in strategic discussions, provide creative solutions and contribute to the overall EMENA marketing strategy for ofi.
  • Manage, support, execute special (global brand marketing) projects as they arise.

Experience requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is required, major in marketing, communications or related field. 
  • Relevant marketing & content development experience. 
  • Prior experience in the Food and Beverage industry is highly preferred. 
  • A solid understanding of integrated communications, digital and social media. 
  • Strong understanding and command of acquisition and retention initiatives, online/social media, direct marketing, public relations, community involvement, advertising and brand management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, with ability to translate complex messaging into impactful, engaging and easily understood creative content & concepts
  • Solid knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot, etc.) is required.  
  • Proficiency with Microsoft office suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook are required.
  • Experience of working with colleagues and/or agencies domestically and across international borders

  • Willingness and ability to travel
